On Friday, April 11, 1997, the first trip with Silverlinjen went from Öland to Stockholm. Since then Silverlinjen has rolled many miles.

It started with a reporter at the newspaper Ölandsbladet, he thought that a bus line to Stockholm was needed, Tomas Angelin at Tomas Buss grabbed the idea and started thinking and calculating. He realized that it would be tight to manage weekend traffic to Stockholm himself and then contacted Silverstrand's Trafik and presented the idea.

Silverlinjen was on its way and has been so ever since.
Today, we drive almost every day 1-3 times a day in each direction. Just over 60,000 travelers choose to travel with us every year, you are one of them and we are happy about that.
